How can the elimination of trace substances required by the new municipal wastewater directive (KARL) be implemented in practice? The Pure Water by zahnenSE pilot project at the Speyer wastewater treatment plant provides answers – initiated by Zahnen Technik in close cooperation with various project partners.

Over a period of six months, real operating data was collected, scientifically evaluated and tested for its applicability in future plants. The results provide sound findings on the integration of a 4th purification stage – for the removal of trace substances – and show how technological solutions can contribute to compliance with the KARL specifications.

The event offers space for professional exchange, personal networking and concrete impulses for all those involved in the further development of municipal wastewater infrastructure.
